Motat

MOTAT

Museum Of Transport And Technology
Yesterday Room 7 students went on a field trip to Motat. When we got there we, Glenbrae seniors all walked to the gate because Katherine, our educator was waiting for us. We then followed Katherine to the rotunda that’s where everyone have morning tea and lunch. Room 7 students got chose to be in group. There was Mrs Parker, Mrs Card, Honey’s aunty (Rowena). First in Mrs Parker’s group we all had to go to the K900 steam train which was a pitch black colour. As we jumped up the stairs and entered the train, I could see how the train works and how to control it. It was a fun experience. After the fun experience Mrs Parker groups when into the pump house. We all realized that in the olden day people used to walk with a bucket down to the river and this time they use the pump house to deliver water to there houses.
