WALT: Making conclusions from text  
SC: Make conclusions about why Grandad was funny about Anzac Day

Answer with full sentences

Correct: Mrs Parker is my teacher in Room 7
Wrong: Mrs Parker


  1. Grandad wore his medals on the left side. Why is that? What does it mean if you wear them on the right side? it means truth and  bravery
  2. Why do you think Grandad wished people would mind their own business?because when people ask him a question he didn't want to  answer?He didn't want to answer
  3. Why do you think Grandad thought the Anzac biscuit was the best thing to come out of the war? Because it was the best anzac biscuit ever.
  4. Do you agree? Why/why not? yes because it was on the text.

CREATE -  Design a medal fit for a soldier from world war one. It must have :

  • A image that represents one of these words: victory, honour, bravery, pride or heroism
  • A short sentence describing the word you chose.
  • A colourful ribbon.
