Christmas

WALT write a recount using a rubric.

Tell the reader about a special time with your family….
It could be:
  • Christmas Day
  • A family celebration (christening, marriage)
  • Church
  • A family Birthday celebration

You will have:
5 minutes to plan on scrap paper
30 minutes to write.
5 minutes to edit.

A special time with my family!

On Saturday last week my family had and I had a Christmas. At the Christmas there was so many different amazing people at the party. The people that was there came from different kind of amazing place like America, Australia, Niue, Tonga, and finally New Zealand.
During the day I thinked to myself why are these incredible talent people are here then this shocked feeling hit me with an idea “they may be parts of my family”. So I walked over to them and credited them inside.At the end of the day I got to see my hole family there it was on of a life time. The felt so happy that I saw people that I haven’t seen before.

  • Conclusion repeats the main ideas, and how we felt or liked most..
Sentence Structure
  • Capitals and full stops not always used.
  • Some sentences make sense, some past and present tense not used right.

  • Most sentences make sense.
  • Has some compound sentences

  • Sentences make sense and use past and present tense correctly.
  • Use FANBOYS to make compound sentences.
  • Sentences start differently (not the same starting) to add interest.
