WALT: write step by step instructions

SC: Write a recipe for Anzac cookies.

What you need:

• 1 ½ cups flour
• 1 ½ cup coconut
• 1 ½ cup oats
• 1 cup  brown sugar
• 180 grams butter
• 3 tablespoon golden syrup
• ¾ teaspoon baking soda
• Large mixing bowl baking paper
• 2 baking trays
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Mixing spoon.

STEP BY STEP

1.First you wash your before you do any cooking.

2.Get all your ingredients ready to bake.

3.Preheat your oven to 180o degrees so when you are going to put your things in the oven, it is ready.

4.Get out two trays and lay them down.

5.Put baking paper on the two trays.

6.Get a cup full of brown sugar and measure them and see if it right to put on the bowl.

7.We need ¾ tea spoon of a baking soda, mixed into 1 tbsp hot water.  

8.Mix the baking soda with the butter into the dry ingredients  Mix well

9.Roll up the Anzac dough into small balls to put in the oven.

Reflection

It was so so yum. I want more but we only had one each.

Welcome

On Wednesday a wake came from Hawaiian.There were 2000 kids from diffident schools.We sang E oho to welcome.At the end we got to hi 5 them.Then it was time to go home.  

Touch

 In touch I was having fun and then we learn who to be a team and who to play touch even better I was in the blue team.I had fun doing touch.We played stuck in on the first day.Then we played a touch game for 25 mints.We all ways play on Tuesday .

If I were an animal

If I were an animal, I would be a bird with colourful feathers and I would fly high and see the world below me. When I need to get somewhere I could just fly there. I could eat the juicy fruit from the trees and have a lot of fun.

Butterfly creek

WALT: To write an interesting recount

SC: Use details and adjectives to describe what did  we do  at butterfly creek.

On Monday the 16 of March Glenbrae School went on a field trip to Butterfly Creek to learn all about dinosaur features, butterflies,and crocodiles.

When we got off the bus room 1,4,5,8, and 7 all went to the Pillion room to have morning tea. Next we walked all the way to the dinosaur kingdom. The dinosaurs were loud. It looked a little bit real. After that we got on the train. We went around the pond.

Room 1,4 and 7 all went into the farm. We also got to hold the some of the animals.We even got to meet the animal.Later on room 1,4,8, and 7 all went to the crocodile shows.It was awesome. We all loved it.And the end we got our bags and went into the bus.We went back to school.

I learn many cool thinks about butterfly creek.

Respectful, kind, and, helpful

Lover of ice-cream, superheros, music

Who wonders how lands were formed

Who fears marvel avengers and pigs

Who feels happy when bad people become good

Who is able to enjoy drawing and dancing

Who dreams of a world where no one dies.

Writing the bio poem was a  little bit hard but it made me think of all the things I like and the thing I don't like.

I learnt something I don‘t know about my me. The difficult part was telling the truth.
