WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT MAGNETS

WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT MAGNETS

On Monday 29 August 2016 my class and I learned about magnets. What I learned about magnets was really instating. Here are some of the details that my classroom and I learned.

I learned that magnets have a really strong connection. One of the magnets are called bar magnet, and that's looks like this
Image result for bar magnets
The N and S means North and South. If you put North and South its will stick, but if you put North and South together guess what would happened?. They won’t connect?, it's just like WW1. If you are from the same team  you won’t kill your own team mates you will kill the your enemies, just like North and South connecting. Another thing I learned was magnets is strong enough to connect through glass, paper, and metal. There are other types of magnets. The Bar one, The horse shoe one, The Lodestone one and the donuts one.

I have learnt lots about magnets and magnets and more magnets but in the end i have fun.

SCIENCE INTENSIVE

SCIENCE INTENSIVE

Yesterday, 29 August my classmate and teaches had a science intensive. There were 3 active and more but we had no time left. The names of the three games was called Flying high that's the air plane on, The racing track you may have an idar race car, and the last by not least was called the fishing game. In the bottom there are all the facts about magnets and the games

Mrs Moopanar gave us some materials and they were sticks, rubber bands, magnets and a thread. When we all done our experiment we had to try it out. We used the bar magnets to move the horse - shoe magnet that was hanging from the string. It was dancing like it had a invisible dance partner. We did a lot of experiment and they were flying high, the speedway and the fishing game. They were a lot of fun.

I felt interested because I learnt different kinds of magnets and it has a strong connection.
My favourite games was the racing track because I was the champion.

Should junk food be at school? or Should healthy food be at school? 50%50

Should junk food be at school?
or
Should healthy food be at school?

I think we should have 50%50 for each, healthy food and junk food.

Healthy food are really good for your body like Vitamin A, B and C. A lots of foods that are healthy has a lots of protein and protein will help your muscles. Fruits are good for you            but some fruits have sugar. You maybe thinking?. Are fruits bad as well? Fruits has sugar but not the sugar we have. Fruits has a low fat sugar which is good for us.

Junk can maybe be delicious, but sometimes junk food can have a lot of sugar. Sugar can contain gluten in junk food.  If you eat too much sugary food you get diabetes. People buy junk food a lot so the shopkeeper can have a lot of money. There is a lot of junk food in this world and shops can make people buy it easily.

Dogs are better than cats

Dogs are better than Casts

I think dogs are better than cats because of so many reason.

My first reason is that dogs can help people who are blind (guide dogs). My other reason are because dogs are fearless I think, and because I love them. Dogs are understandable and loyal to you. A dog is a man's best friend.

Now you see why dogs are better than cats. I would love to get a husky with blues, a Rottweiler puppy and a German shepherd.

Title: Piper by the sand

Author: John O'Brien

Today I read about a book about an instrument in the sand.

I feel good about what I read today because a boy named
Dougal.
My favourite character was Dougal because he wanted to find out more about what the sound was.

I would feel happy if the same thing that happened to my character, happened to me because I would've found a instrument

I think if the author decided to write another part to this story this is what will happen he will find a ukulele

Make a string telephone

Make a string telephone

What you’ll need:

  • 2 paper cups
  • A sharp pencil to help poke holes
  • String

Instructions:

  1. Cut a long piece of string
  2. Poke a small hole in the bottom of each cup.
  3. Thread the string through each cup and tie knots at each end to stop it pulling through the cup.
  4. Move into position with you and a friend holding the cups at a distance that makes the string tight.
  5. One person talks into the cup while the other puts to their ear and listens.
What happening ?

Speaking into the cup creates sound waves which are converted into vibrations at the bottom of the cup.
The vibrations travel along the string and are converted back into sound waves at the other end so your friend can hear what what you said. Sound travels through the air but it travels even better through solids such as your cup and string, allowing you to hear sounds that might be too far away when travelling through the air

Maths

Persuasive Writing About Wearing Uniforms

   Persuasive Writing About
Should or should not wear uniforms and why.
Argument 1: I think we should wear school uniforms so we can be easily identified from other people.

When your school have sport’s and `you are going on a bus to vs other inter school, they will know what school you are from. Also,  when you wake up in the morning it's easier to find where your uniform is. So when you come back from school, you can put your uniforms somewhere you can easily find it the next morning . It’s is good  because when you are going
to church there are still good and clean for school the next day.

From my argument you can know see why I think wearing uniforms is good
